Welcome to Rusfor's Revenge
Operation Omega Viper (Vipera kaznakovi)
NATO forces have now pushed into Crimea with mixed results but successfully gained a foothold in the region at the cost of heavy casualties. During the course of the conflict, collected intel from multiple sources revealed a bone chilling plot to detonate biochemical weapons (refer to file #0246 “GATOR” TS2012) in major population centers across Western Europe and the U.S. Intel suggests that the weapons are currently held at the Genoese Fortress (Sudak) in Crimea and that weapon delivery may include an airborne variant. Russian Forces and Crimean Militia inhabit the AO. In response, NATO has scrambled U.S. maritime forces (24th MEU – SOC REIN*) which will isolate, secure, and extricate the weapons at all cost. The use of force has been authorized.
*Marine Expeditionary Unit – Special Operations Capable. REIN (Reinforced) with Marine Raider and FAST Company elements. FAST (Fleet Anti-Terrorist and Security Team).
