Operation Gothic Serpent II

Riots have erupted again in Somalia and thousands of civilians have been killed as bands of rival militia clash in the streets. United Nations (UN) humanitarian aid has ceased deliveries because of the fighting. Somalia has been suffering from extreme drought conditions for several years. Food and water are now being used as weapons against the civilian population by the emerging militia leaders of Al-Shabaab, a ruthless terrorist organization. The U.S. State Department issued bounties of $5 million each for information leading to the capture or kill of militia “leaders” and members of the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab; Ali Mohammed Rage (AKA Ali Dheere) and Mohammed Abdi Aden (AKA Mohammed Abdirahmen). Both are well known for bombings and other terrorist attacks against the civilian population in Somalia and abroad. A decade of trying to bring these two to justice by using a bounty has failed. The U.S. State Department is now recommending and asking for military action. U.S. led coalition forces are now being sent to the region to establish control of the humanitarian aid and supply chain. U.S. forces will restore order in the Somalia city of Mogadishu by seizing and destroying weapons and munitions, and by establishing critical outposts. SOCOM and MARSOC elements have been tasked with the destruction of Al-Shabaab and its’ terrorist leaders. Use of force has now been authorized to establish peace by cutting the head off the terrorist snake!

Event Information

You will need to decide which faction you will fight for. Please read the REGS as there are a few differences for this event; If you wish to fight for the US Forces please register as NATO (Green Force). All camo patterns for NATO are authorized including AOR 2. If you wish to fight for the rag-tag Somalia Militia please register as RUSFOR (Blue Force). The militia is authorized to wear all civilian clothing and any RUSFOR camo pattern TOP or BOTTOMS, but NOT both. So jeans and a camo top is cool, or camo pants and t-shirt. DNC (Desert Night Camo) is also authorized for militia. If you only have a multicam plate carrier or LBE you must wear a civilian shirt under it. You cannot otherwise wear any multicam camoflage. Any weapons are allowed for militia but AK and PKM, RPK variants are recomended. Always dress the part! If you are running an HPA weapon system please come with your tank(s) full! We plan to have a compressor available but cannot gurantee its' functionality or the length of the line to fill your tank. Grenades (Frags & Smokes) will be allowed in the MOUT site ONLY! No TAGN HE rounds. Chalk rounds are okay. Final determination on use will be determined by fire conditions and range control on the day of the event.

Camp Biak Information

This venue includes thousands of acres of maneuvering areas for force on force war-gaming including a MOUT site. Included in your registration price are the following: Parking Areas Camping Area Flushing Toilets and Porta Potties Some Showers Potable Water 16 hours of training and war-gaming (12 Hours of continuos war-game play) Bio BB's for the event TQ (Game Tourniquet) Faction Patch (Blue is Militia and Green is US/NATO) It is HIGHLY recommended that you bring enough water to sustain you and your camp for the entire event. It is going to be hot! Not as hot as Mogadishu but be prepared! It is HIGHLY recommended that you have a canopy (sun shade) for your campsite and SUNSCREEN. It is an arid, dry venue. This is a federal facility and we need to abide by their rules. The following rules will apply; NO homemade pyrotechnics or fireworks of any kind NO RED SMOKE NO FIREARMS NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL NO PETS
